There was a ton of beauty at ALT last week. The attendees felt younger (energizing) than the previous year but the beauty that I am referring to is in the websites that I have been to in the last couple of days. Yum! And that seems to be what I am into lately….examining people’s web presences. I may be a tad obsessed with it, as a matter of fact.
Now, I get that everyone has a different online agenda. I also get that you might not be in the business of blogging BUT I think it is important to realize, that like anything else style and architecture evolves with time and that includes online!
When you look at Facebook now, doesn’t it seem a tad old fashioned? You know what I am talking about, drop shadow and bevel & emboss dates you like bad perm.
So here are some sites that I came across from this week that I am digging and or just couldn’t bring myself to close once I had opened up the tab.
Some of these sites don’t have the heavy architecture (menu/navigation) that is often needed for other sites but simplicity can often be just what the doctor ordered. I like to try to figure out WHY I like something, is the fonts, the colors, the message or is it just the vibe? Got any favs? Pop them into the comments and I will happily lose myself!
