Tula Pink dishes on design, quilting and social media

Here the amazing Tula Pink!!! She is a rockin’ the quilt world with her innovative fabric designs and is turning up the volume with her  use of social media. She loves her fans, talks to them, bounces ideas off them and shows up in a way that is enviable  to even the biggest brands. I love her and appreciate her artistic flair and I think you will too! P.S. Listen in despite our somewhat rocky internet connection, this girl has something to say!

Here is a peek at her new Halloween fabric! Fun!

  • My ears perked up when she mentioned that her mom owns a quilt shop. The move from record-label related work to quilt fabric design was mysterious… until the mom mention. 🙂 I only discovered Tula’s blog/twitter recently – Love hearing Tula talk about her work!

    Hi Monica and “Tula”!
Great interview, again! I loved hearing the backstory and the fact that your brother is part of the biz, that’s awesome! I flipped through your book at B&N this weekend and really enjoyed your take on the projects…different that the typical fare with a fresh take, but still very doable. Bravo!

      Oh! Now I need another book, don’t I?! Wish I had brother….!

  • Cheryl

I love Tula Pink!! Her Mom (Kathy ) has the best shop around. It is modern and edgy with a feeling of movement and progression. Not the same old same old
    . Great interview! Thanks, Cheryl

Oh boy! Nice to know that my social media awkwardness is working at some level, haha!

I love her story! Tula’s mom is great and their shop is wonderful. I just bought the book, would love to have it autographed. I love your interviews!

  • What a great interview! Really am enjoying “meeting” fabric designers–makes me appreciate their work so much more and Tula’s work is fantastic!
