You know that I like a smart cookie and this woman certainly is one! Grace Kang is the owner of darling boutiques in NY called Pink Olive, one in Brooklyn and in the East Village. Her successful stores are chock full of unusual paper products and yummy gifts. (Business 1)
She loves supporting indie designers goods in her shop. She loves new designers so much that she launched Business 2 called Retail Recipes to guide designers through the process of getting their goods into retail stores. Business 3 is a super innovative way to give a gift that keeps on giving (literally)! Olive Box is a recent incarnation that combines some of her favorite picks from the store to arrive on your (or your loved ones) doorstep every month. This is such a clever idea. She has even partnered with Bing for free shipping of the 6 or 12 month subscription. I love the idea of giving your mom, your sister or your BFF a subscription of Olive Box that arrives once a month! Of course, it is an awesome treat for yourself. You work hard, wouldn’t a surprise package that arrives once a month be lovely?
