Some southern charm with Phyllis Dobbs

Oh Lovelies! I have another tiny video for you and I promise the rest will be normal size! I was experimenting technology!

Meet Phyllis Dobbs, she is a licensed artist and textile designer with an extensive background in quilting. ย She has also written over 100 instructional books on quilting, sewing, beading, ribbon embroidery and other forms of needlework. Her designs can be frequently in various magazines and other sewing and quilt books. Whew, Phyllis, who knew!? She is just as sweet and helpful as you would expect someone from Alabama to be. I ย really enjoyed this chat, hearing how she crosses over into several different categories (not always easy to do) with her creative spirit! Here are some shots from her new book Asymmetrical Quilts.

Phyllis has an active zazzle shop online. I found this quilt imagery in her online shop. How about that for a quilt loving pup?
