Pins and Needles shop owner, Rachel Low discusses retail start ups

Here is a repost of Smart Creative Women’s very first interview with my BRAVE (and good friend) Rachel Low. Rachel owns a retail store on the upper East side of Manhattan in New York called Pins and Needles. I know she is off to Quilt Market this week and I thought it would fun to re-air our interview about her journey opening a retail fabric and craft store. She talks about her class offerings and well as other important adaptations she has made since opening. For those of you who cannot make it to NYC, Rachel has recently opened and etsy shop called Start Stitching, it is loaded full of good stuff!

    Great interview Monica and Rachel. Love the fact that she pointed out her business is somewhat different than what she had imagined and what her business plan says. Also love that she encouraged getting help from other experts and knowing what she does best and stay focused on that.
