BlogcastFM host Srinivas talks collaboration, business models and the handmade community

Here is a Friday bonus interview! Brace yourself, it’s two people that like to talk! I guess that is why we both hosts shows. Srinivas Rao is the host of the popular  podcast show, BlogcastFM. BlogcastFM is a great resource if you are hoping to grow your blog and  your audience!  He offers insights on collaborations and talks candidly about his own business model. He has been innovative in carving out a custom made career  for himself on his own terms!  Srini also writes for his personal blog  The Skool of Life. I think he is a gifted and succinct writer (and apparently quite the surfer!) I wanted to squeeze this chat into this weeks schedule so you would have the opportunity to tune into a free live event Monday evening, May 14th that Srini is hosting called A Handmade Evening.     Thanks for having me Monica. It’s fun to be on the other side of the fence for a change. I was a bit concerned that I rambled too much and was all over the place. This seems to have turned out really nicely. Apparently I talk really FAST.

    Great interview. I’ve been listening to BlogCast FM for a long time and I do believe that I’m one of their biggest fans!

    It was interesting to learn about the background of how Blogcast FM started and to hear Srini talk about some of the challenges that they have had to overcome to make it grow into what it is today.

    I agree with Monica, Srini has a powerful voice. He’s a natural, gifted speaker and interviewer. It’s a combination of passion, intellect and talent.

    I told my husband this morning “that Srini, he’s going to be incredibly famous one day. We will probably see him on his own TV talk Show in the future, and we will be able to say “I knew him when….”

      This maybe a completely random coincidence, but I met you on the day or in the first week we launched BlogcastFM. It’s definitely gone through its growing pains. But we’re better for having gone through them. Famous huh? It’s funny you put that talk show idea in my head and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. Thanks for all your support.
